Meant different things to different people, and redefined himself for each new generation.* So what pic. to use ? May as well go with the less obvious, the less familiar. RIP.
* For me, it will always be the Ziggy Stardust album, Life on Mars, and the early 80's work. But, as I said... For some out there, it could be The Laughing Gnome.

Whitney Houston: Saving All My Love For You
Can't say that I was familiar with the name of Michael Masser, but turns out I was certainly familiar with his work, via this list at The Telegraph. To have written just a couple of those would be one hell of an legacy. RIP.
And why Whitney here, and not Diana ? That voice.

Not a fan, but thought this was worth remembering: That within recent living memory, one of the leading figures in a majority-Arab, majority-Muslim government in the Middle East was a Christian. Today, the few remaining Christians in many countries in that part of the world are being murdered en masse. Including and perhaps especially in Iraq...
